Two-Vehicle Accident on Carrillo Street in Santa Barbara Leaves 1 Driver in Critical Condition

 
SANTA BARBARA, CA (November 19, 2021) – One driver was critically injured in a two-vehicle accident on Carrillo Street in Santa Barbara on Sunday evening.
 
The accident happened around 8:20 p.m. on November 14, just east of Miramonte Drive. According to the Santa Barbara City Fire Department, two vehicles collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
Responding firefighters found the male drivers and sole occupants of both vehicles with injuries from the crash. Paramedics took them to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, one of them was in critical condition.
 
At this time, the Santa Barbara Police Department is still investigating the exact cause of the crash.
