Man Killed after Motorcycle Accident on Griffin Avenue near East Avenue 28

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 24, 2022) — A 24-year-old man died after a motorcycle crash on Griffin Avenue on Saturday, October 22.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, they responded to calls of the incident just before 7:30 a.m. in the 2800 block of Griffin Avenue in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood.
 
When officers arrived at the area, they found a motorcyclist that hit another vehicle. Los Angeles Fire Department rescue officials pronounced the male motorcycle rider dead at the scene.
 
LAPD said that the motorcycle drove southbound on Griffin Avenue. Then the vehicle in front of him made a U-turn. The motorcyclist wasn’t able to slow down hitting the vehicle. The force of the crash pinned the bike underneath the vehicle.
 
Authorities have not yet released the name and city of residence of the victim.
