3 Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Pacific Coast Highway near Neptune’s Net

 
VENTURA COUNTY, CA (April 10, 2021) – Three people, including one child, sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident on Pacific Coast Highway, Saturday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 3:55 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, two motorcycles and a car collided near Neptune’s Net restaurant.
 
Emergency crews described one of the motorcycles as a Harley-Davidson and the car as a four-door BWM.
 
A medical helicopter transported one rider to Ventura County Medical Center with major injuries. Meanwhile, the other rider and a 9-year-old victim were taken to Los Robles Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
 
Responders shut down the highway in both directions for two hours to make way for clearing operations and an investigation. Caltrans also arrived at the scene due to an oil spill.
 
As per reports, officers reopened the area shortly before 7:00 p.m.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident.
