Fatal Pedestrian Accident Reported on Gonzales Road Oxnard

 
OXNARD, CA (April 14, 2021) – Police confirmed that a woman died in a pedestrian accident on Gonzales Road on April 12.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened between Harbor Boulevard and Victoria Avenue around 11:55 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was walking in the road surrounded by agricultural fields. Due to unknown reasons, a Dodge Ram truck struck her.
 
As a result, an attending coroner pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The CHP’s Ventura office did not yet release the victim’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
As of now, no other details are available. In addition, officials are trying to find out what the victim was doing near the fields at the time of the crash. Currently, this pedestrian accident on Gonzales Road is still under investigation.
