LA PUENTE, CA (September 14, 2021) – Officers identified Richard Pena as the man who died in a pedestrian accident on Hacienda Boulevard on September 8.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Hayland Street.
 
Based on reports, Pena was on the roadway at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle came and struck him. At this point, officials have not yet released the details that led to the crash.
 
As a result, the pedestrian died in the incident. The coroner’s office identified him as Richard Pena Jr., 31.
