Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Bus in Van Nuys

 
VAN NUYS, CA (March 18, 2024) – Richard Leos was killed in a motorcycle accident in Van Nuys Friday morning on March 15.
 
The fatal accident happened around 11:00 a.m. on Hazeltine Avenue near Bessemer Street. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Leos was riding his motorcycle with a 12-year-old female when they collided with a Metro G Line bus.
 
Leos suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was 34 years old of Van Nuys, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
 
Paramedics rushed the girl to the Valley Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
