Ricardo Mora-Ramirez Arrested in Fatal DUI Crash on South Walton Avenue [Yuba City, CA]

Police Arrest DUI Driver after Crashing Car into Tree in Yuba City Killing One of His Passengers

 
YUBA CITY, CA (February 11, 2023) – Ricardo Mora-Ramirez was arrested after a fatal DUI crash in Yuba City early Monday morning on February 6.
 
The crash happened around 2:10 a.m. at the intersection of South Walton Avenue and Camino De Flores. According to the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office, the 21-year-old suspect from Yuba City was driving a vehicle that had crashed into a tree.
 
Deputies responded and found Mora-Ramirez and his two passengers. One passenger was taken to a local hospital and is currently being treated for major injuries.
 
The second passenger later succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. They were not yet identified.
 
Police arrested Mora-Ramirez and booked him into the Sutter County Jail on charges including DUI and vehicle manslaughter.
 
Mora-Ramirez is still in custody awaiting his next court date.
