JAMESTOWN, CA (January 20, 2022) — Rebekah Gall suffered major injuries in a DUI head-on accident on Highway 49 at Chicken Ranch Road on Tuesday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash occurred around 5:15 p.m. For DUI-related reasons, 63-year-old Theodore Young of Sonora allowed his Toyota to veer from the northbound lane to the southbound lane. Subsequently, Young’s pickup collided with a southbound Acura sedan, driven by 27-year-old Gall of Modesto.
 
As a result of the crash, Gall suffered major injuries and sought care at a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
 
Meanwhile, officers arrested Young on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
 
At this time, the collision remains under investigation. Therefore, any witnesses with information should reach out to the CHP.
