JURUPA VALLEY, CA (May 1, 2023) — Rafael De La Torre Jr. was arrested in a DUI accident on Limonite Avenue near Beach Street.
 
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the drunk driving crash happened around 5:30 p.m. Saturday. For DUI-related reasons, 45-year-old Rafael De La Torre Jr. crashed his vehicle into a second car, occupied by a 43-year-old woman and a 13-year-old boy.
 
Shortly after, emergency personnel arrived and took the woman and teen to a hospital with minor injuries. During the investigation, traffic investigators learned that De La Torre was under the influence.
