Raad Abdo Killed in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Hollywood Freeway [Studio City, CA]

Early Morning Crash on Hollywood Freeway in Studio City Kills 70-Year-Old Man

 
STUDIO CITY, CA (February 7, 2023) – Raad Ibrahim Abdo was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on Hollywood (101) Freeway in Studio City early Monday morning.
 
The accident happened around 2:18 a.m. on February 6, just south of Lankershim Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol, several vehicles collided along the freeway in unclear circumstances.
 
Abdo suffered fatal injuries from the crash and died at the scene. He was 70 years old from North Hollywood, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
 
It is unknown if Abdo was a passenger or one of the drivers.
 
A SigAlert was issued at 2:46 a.m. shutting down all northbound lanes of the Hollywood Freeway and diverting traffic off at Lankershim Boulevard during the investigation and clean-up.
