Car Crash on West Terra Bella Street in Arleta, Pregnant Woman and Child in Critical Condition

 
ARLETA, CA (September 21, 2022) – A pregnant woman and a young child were critically injured in a two-vehicle accident on West Terra Bella Street on Sunday evening, September 18.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a Toyota Camry broadsided a BMW sedan at 13952 West Terra Bella Street just before 9:00 p.m.
 
As a result of the crash, the child was ejected from the BMW and the pregnant driver was trapped inside.
 
Firefighters used hydraulic tools to free the driver from the car. Both the driver and the child were then taken to hospitals in critical condition.
 
At this time, it is unclear which driver was at fault. It is also unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor.
 
An investigation into this crash is ongoing.
