RIVERSIDE, CA (October 5, 2021) — A vehicle fire ensued after a multi-vehicle crash on 60 Freeway in the area of Riverside Saturday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place at about 3:30 p.m. Three vehicles collided near the 60/215/91 interchange. One of the involved vehicles was an SUV, which burst into flames following the impact.
 
Officials called in an ambulance to the scene for the possibility of any injuries resulting from the collision. Information on the number of people involved, however, was not immediately available following the incident.
