Motorcycle Officer Suffers Injuries after Crash with Another Vehicle on East Cypress Avenue in Redding
REDDING, CA (September 18, 2024) – A police officer was injured in a motorcycle accident on East Cypress Avenue in Redding Tuesday afternoon on September 17.
The accident happened around 2:15 p.m. near Enterprise Rent-A-Car. According to the Redding Police Department, the officer was riding in his motorcycle when they collided with another vehicle.
As a result, the officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Paramedics took him to local hospital for complaints of pain.
Police said the driver involved in the crash remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation. They said there is no criminal element at this time.
