KETTLEMAN CITY, CA (June 21, 2022) — A person died in a pedestrian crash on the 5 Freeway at Highway 41 early Monday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 3:30 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in an unknown make and model struck a person on the northbound 5 Freeway.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, the pedestrian suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
