Person Dies in Pedestrian Crash on 10 Freeway in Beaumont

 
BEAUMONT, CA (November 21, 2022) — One person died in a pedestrian accident on the 10 Freeway near Oak Valley Parkway.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident occurred around 6:46 p.m. Sunday.
 
Under unclear circumstances, a car struck a pedestrian on the Oak Valley Parkway at mile marker 6. Upon receiving the call, Cal Fire-Riverside responded to the scene. Although, the pedestrian died soon after.
 
Authorities do not have the gender and age of the victim or information on what drove the incident. If anyone has seen this crash, please call the CHP.
