VICTORVILLE, CA (January 2, 2023) — A person was injured in a pedestrian accident on Mariposa Road near Bear Valley Road on New Year’s Day.
 
According to reports, the pedestrian accident took place around 5:52 p.m. Upon responding, Victorville Fire Department personnel and Victorville police officers found a pedestrian suffering from critical injuries.
 
Inferring from the victim’s wounds, firefighters requested a helicopter to land at Desert Valley Hospital to airlift the victim to a trauma center.
