SAN JOSE, CA (October 6, 2021) — One person was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident near Umbarger Road and Senter Road Monday night.
 
According to San Jose police, the pedestrian accident happened around 8:14 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in an unknown make and model struck a person and sped off. As a result, the victim suffered life-threatening injuries.
 
Soon after, emergency personnel arrived and transported the victim to a hospital for treatment.
 
As of now, the patient remains stabilized. However, the driver remains unaccounted for, and anyone with more information on the suspect should contact the authorities.
