Person Struck, Injured by Vehicle on Highway 101 in Salinas

 
SALINAS, CA (October 10, 2022) — One person was hit and injured by a car on Highway 101 near Main Street on Friday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident occurred around 2:31 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver operating a white vehicle struck a person near the North Main Street Bridge. The driver pulled over and waited for authorities to arrive.
 
Responding paramedics and officers saw that the windshield of the car sustained damage.
 
Although, officers disclosed no information on the victim hit by the car or how the incident occurred. If anyone has information that can help investigators with the circumstances of this accident, please call the CHP.
