Veronica Lugo Seriously Hurt in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash near 9th Street and Alma Street

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 22, 2022) — Veronica Lugo remains in life support following a hit-and-run pedestrian accident near 9th Street and Alma Street on September 8.
 
According to Los Angeles Police, the hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened around 8:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in a 2007 to 2011 Lincoln Town Car struck 45-year-old Lugo.
 
In the investigation, police learned she was walking outside of a crosswalk when the accident happened. Rather than trying to render aid, the unidentified driver left the scene.
 
Lugo sustained critical injuries and is on life support.
