LOS ANGELES, CA (October 30, 2023) — A pedestrian struck by a hit-and-run driver on Downey Road near Hubbard Street died Tuesday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the hit-and-run happened around 7:10 p.m. Tuesday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver of a silver Honda Pilot struck a male pedestrian before leaving the scene. The victim, who remains nameless, passed away at the crash site.
 
Meanwhile, the driver failed to stop and continued southbound on Downey Road toward Telegraph Road.
