Woman Suffers Serious Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Home Avenue in City Heights

 
CITY HEIGHTS, CA (March 29, 2022) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Home Avenue in City Heights, late Saturday evening.
 
The crash happened around 11:00 p.m. on March 26 near Euclid Avenue. According to the San Diego Police Department, a Toyota Tacoma was heading south on Home Avenue when it hit the female pedestrian, who was in the roadway. The impact propelled the woman several feet.
 
After the crash, the involved driver fled the scene, leaving the victim with serious injuries.
 
Responding paramedics transported the victim to a hospital for proper treatment.
