Fatal Train Accident on North Coldwater Canyon Avenue in Sun Valley

 
SUN VALLEY, CA (March 17, 2021) – A pedestrian died Tuesday morning in a train accident in the 7400 block of North Coldwater Canyon Avenue in the Sun Valley area.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident happened around 6:45 a.m., March 16. A Metrolink train 102 on the Ventura County Line was headed to Los Angeles when it struck the pedestrian.
 
The pedestrian, whose gender and identity were not immediately available, died at the scene.
 
Officials closed Coldwater Canyon Avenue in the area while they investigated the accident.
