Woman Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City

 
STUDIO CITY, CA (March 10, 2024) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City on February 7.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:00 p.m. just west of Fruitland Drive. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a red sedan was traveling westbound on Ventura Boulevard when it struck the female pedestrian who was crossing the street.
 
After the crash, the driver of the sedan did not stop. The car was last seen heading westbound on Ventura Boulevard.
 
Responding paramedics rushed the woman to a hospital, where she later died.
 
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner only described the victim as someone in her 30s.
 
The city offered a standing reward of $50,000 for information leading to the conviction of the hit-and-run suspect.
