SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA (April 6, 2023) — A pedestrian died in a hit-and-run accident on El Camino Real near McClellan Drive.
 
According to San Francisco Police, the deadly hi-and-run happened around 1:06 a.m. Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a pedestrian attempting to cross the southbound lanes of El Camino Real. Instead of pulling over to help, the driver left the scene leaving the victim with fatal injuries.
 
Arriving authorities closed the southbound lanes of El Camino Real for the investigation.
