1 Person Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash at Avalon Boulevard in South Los Angeles
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (May 10, 2023) — A pedestrian died in a hit-and-run accident at Avalon Boulevard and 110th Street Sunday.
According to Los Angeles police, the hit-and-run pedestrian crash happened before 3:10 a.m. A witness contacted authorities about an injured man on the road. Minutes later, Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters arrived but the victim had already passed away.
Traffic investigators do not have information on the driver involved. Although, if anyone has information on the possible vehicle or suspect that fled the scene after striking the 63-year-old pedestrian, please reach out to the LAPD.
