WOODLAND HILLS, CA (May 10, 2023) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 101 at Valley Circle Boulevard.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 10:00 p.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, the unidentified person was walking on the highway’s on-ramp when a vehicle struck him.
 
Minutes later, CHP officers responded and found the victim lying on the ramp. Due to the victim’s injuries, the individual passed away.
 
Traffic investigators will explore this crash further to identify the factors leading to the accident. If anyone has seen this accident, which left the northbound side of the freeway with bumper-to-bumper traffic, please call the CHP.
