Pedestrian Sustains Facial Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Car at 4th and E Streets in Old Town Eureka

 
OLD TOWN EUREKA, CA (June 21, 2022) – A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run crash at 4th Street and E Street in Old Town Eureka on Friday evening, June 17.
 
The crash happened around 10:00 p.m. near the Sea Grill restaurant. According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was walking at the intersection when a vehicle struck him.
 
After striking the victim, the involved driver fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
The 46-year-old male victim sustained facial injuries from the crash.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still investigating the crash and on the lookout for the hit-and-run suspect.
