One Hospitalized after Sonora Pedestrian Accident on South Washington Street

 
SONORA, CA (November 18, 2022) – A pedestrian sustained injuries in an accident on South Washington Street, Thursday afternoon.
 
According to the Sonora Police Department, the incident happened on November 17, shortly after noon. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle hit the pedestrian near the intersection with Jackson Street.
 
Emergency crews transported the pedestrian to a hospital. However, authorities did not release updates on the victim’s current condition.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
Sonora police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
