Man Seriously Injured in South Bay Pedestrian Accident on Montague Expressway

 
SOUTH BAY, CA (December 12, 2022) – A pedestrian sustained serious injuries in an accident on Montague Expressway, Monday morning.
 
According to the Santa Clara Police Department, the incident happened on November 21, at about 8:30 a.m. Witnesses claim that the pedestrian attempted to cross the road against a red light. Then, a vehicle hit him near Agnew Road.
 
Emergency crews transported the pedestrian to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained and cooperated with investigators.
 
Authorities did not release the names of the people involved.
 
Santa Clara police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers ask anyone with additional information to call Traffic Investigator S. Wilson at (408) 615-4764.
