Car Fatally Strikes Pedestrian on 15 Freeway in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (February 23, 2024) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on 15 Freeway in Victorville early Thursday morning on February 22.
 
The fatal crash happened around 2:36 a.m. at the Roy Rogers Drive off-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was walking along the northbound freeway when a gray Kia Stinger struck them.
 
After the crash, the driver of the Kia immediately stopped and called 911.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and rendered aid, but pedestrian died at the scene.
 
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Division withheld the victim’s identity at this time.
