SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 17, 2024) — A pedestrian was hit and injured by a Muni bus on Geary Boulevard and Masonic Avenue.
 
San Francisco Fire crews arrived at the scene around 4:35 p.m. to respond to a pedestrian accident. Upon arriving, fire crews found a man with his leg stuck underneath the wheel of a Muni bus. Crews began the extrication process and freed the man from under the vehicle before taking him to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment.
 
According to reports, he sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
 
San Francisco police did not confirm the leading cause of the accident but did say he was waiting for the bus before the impact.
