Paulina Mendoza Dies After Falling Out of Truck Performing Donuts on Camden Avenue near Taper Avenue
SAN JOSE, CA (September 18, 2024) — Paulina Mendoza died after falling out of a truck that was doing donuts on Camden Avenue near Taper Avenue.
According to the San Jose Police Department, the tragic accident happened Friday in the 14900 block of Camden Avenue. While impaired, a man operating a white 2006 Ford pickup truck was performing donuts. Subsequently, his front-seat female passenger fell out of the moving vehicle and onto the pavement before car struck her.
Subsequently, the driver drove to the hospital, but the woman — later identified as Paulina Verduzco Mendoza — passed away from severe injuries.
The driver and two male passengers stayed for the investigation, which led to the driver’s arrest. At this time, he remains unidentified and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence.
