CLOVIS, CA (March 26, 2024) — A pedestrian was hit and injured by a commercial truck at Gettysburg Avenue and Willow Avenue.
 
According to Clovis Police, the pedestrian accident happened Thursday afternoon. For an unknown reason, a commercial vehicle driver did not see a pedestrian in a parking lot. Subsequently, the driver struck the man, causing him to suffer from head injuries.
 
Shortly after, paramedics arrived and ushered the victim to a local hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police, who ruled out impairment as a possible factor.
