BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 29, 2024) — A pedestrian was hit and injured by a hit-and-run driver on Wible Road near Stone Meadows Drive.
 
According to Bakersfield Police, the hit-and-run happened on February 25 around 6:32 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a female pedestrian and left the scene. Shortly after, Bakersfield Police arrived in the 8500 block of Wible Road to find the woman with severe injuries and the driver unaccounted for. Due to her condition, paramedics shuttled her to a hospital for treatment.
