Pauline Gonzalez Killed, Osvaldo Garcia Detained in 2-Car Crash on Highway 14 near Palmdale Boulevard

 
PALMDALE, CA (April 12, 2022) — Pauline Gonzalez died and Osvaldo Garcia was arrested in a two-car accident on Highway 14 near Palmdale Boulevard on Saturday morning.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, 28-year-old Gonzalez died in the accident that happened around 2:13 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, Gonzalez’s 1996 Buick sedan crashed into a Honda sedan in the southbound lanes of the highway.
 
Following the accident, she exited her disabled Buick, which was in the No. 4 lane. However, an oncoming 2006 Ford F-150 slammed into her Buick and her.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded to the scene, but Gonzalez suffered fatal wounds. Police subsequently arrested the 23-year-old Ford driver, Garcia of Palmdale, on suspicion of DUI.
