DUI Crash on Seal Beach Boulevard Kills Passenger, Driver Arrested

 
SEAL BEACH, CA (March 5, 2024) – A passenger was killed in a DUI crash at Seal Beach Boulevard and North Gate Road early Monday morning.
 
The fatal crash happened around 2:00 a.m. on March 4. According to the Seal Beach Police Department, 39-year-old Victor Alfonso Campos Carranza of Los Angeles was driving a vehicle when he crashed at the intersection.
 
The impact of the crash ejected the female passenger of the vehicle. The unidentified woman died at the scene.
 
Paramedics took Carranza to a hospital for treatment of his injuries.
 
Police later arrested Carranza and booked him into Orange County Jail on suspicion of felony DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
