73-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Teen Driver in San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (December 10, 2023) – Padmanbhan Krishnan was killed in a pedestrian accident in San Jose late Friday afternoon on December 8.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:05 p.m. at the intersection of Almaden Expressway and Camden Avenue. According to the San Jose Police Department, red 2009 Toyota sedan struck Krishnan who was walking in the street.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and rushed Krishnan to a hospital, where he later died.
 
Krishnan was a 73-year-old San Jose resident, according to the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroners’ Office.
 
The driver, a male minor, remained at the scene. There was no indication from police that the driver was cited or arrested.
