BURLINGAME, CA (July 26, 2021) – Police confirmed that one person died in an accident involving a train on Trousdale Avenue on July 23.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 6:06 AM.
 
Based on reports, Caltrain‘s number 206 train was heading southbound at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, the pedestrian was standing on the tracks at the control point. Then, the train struck the victim.
 
As a result, the victim died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the deceased’s identity pending kin notification.
 
As of now, no other information about the incident is available. In addition, the case is still under investigation.
