Evening Two-Vehicle Accident on 60 Freeway in East LA Badly Injures One

 
EAST LOS ANGELES, CA (November 8, 2021) – One person suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident on 60 Freeway in East Los Angeles Friday evening.
 
The accident happened around 8:25 p.m. on November 5 at the southbound 710 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, a Honda Civic and another car collided along the westbound 60 Freeway near the transition road.
 
When officers arrived, they located both vehicles at the scene. The Honda had rolled over from the impact. Also, about 30 feet of guardrail and several posts were destroyed from the collision.
 
Paramedics took one patient to a hospital with major injuries.
 
At this time, it is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
