BLYTHE, CA (July 6, 2021) – One person sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident on 10 Freeway in Blythe Saturday morning.
 
The accident happened around 11:00 a.m. on July 3, near Mesa Drive. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. Fire and emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated one person from the wreckage.
 
Officials then requested an air ambulance to transport that person to a hospital with serious injuries.
 
Two adults and two children who were also involved in the crash were uninjured.
