Broadside Accident on Highway 18 in Lucerne Valley Injures 3 Including Infant

 
LUCERNE VALLEY, CA (July 6, 2021) – Three people sustained injuries in a broadside accident on Highway 18 in Lucerne Valley.
 
The accident happened around 2:42 p.m. on Saturday, July 3, near Willow Wells Avenue. CHP officials said a motorhome broadsided a red 4-door Toyota sedan for unknown reasons.
 
As a result, the sedan had major side damage and the RV had major front-end damage.
 
Responding firefighters found three people trapped, including an infant in a car seat. A ground ambulance transported all three patients to St. Mary’s Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
 
At this time, the California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
