Pedestrian Suffers Major Injuries after Struck by Vehicle on Highway 119 in Taft

 
TAFT, CA (May 20, 2023) – One person was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident on Highway 119 in Taft Monday evening on May 15.
 
The accident happened around 9:00 p.m. at the intersection with Orange Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was walking in the area when a vehicle struck them.
 
The impact caused the pedestrian major injuries. Paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
CHP officers added that there was no sign of any vehicle at the scene.
