Two-Vehicle Accident at South 19th Avenue and Kansas Avenue Ends in Fatality

 
KINGS COUNTY, CA (November 30, 2021) – At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle accident at South 19th Avenue and Kansas Avenue on Saturday, November 20.
 
The accident happened around 12:52 p.m. According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. One of them overturned from the impact, while the other went into an orchard.
 
At least one of the vehicles also struck a light pole, damaging the guy wire.
 
Firefighter paramedics immediately responded and pronounced at least one person dead at the scene.
 
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office withheld the victim’s identity at this time.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
