Late Evening Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 99 in Visalia Ends in Fatality

 
VISALIA, CA (March 9, 2022) – At least one person died in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 99 in Visalia, late Friday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 10:48 p.m. on March 4 along the southbound highway at Betty Drive. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Subaru Crosstrek SUV and a red Grand Marquis sedan collided for unknown reasons.
 
When officers arrived, they located both cars on the right shoulder. They also confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
The name, age and hometown of the victim were not immediately available.
