Two Vehicles Collide on Harrison Street in Thermal Killing One Person

 
THERMAL, CA (May 27, 2023) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Harrison Street in Thermal Thursday afternoon on May 25.
 
The fatal accident happened around 2:49 p.m. near Pierce Street. The intersection is located in an agricultural area near farms, fields and a trailer park. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, a Ford Ranger and a Toyota Corolla collided for unknown reasons.
 
When fire crews arrived, one of the two vehicles involved was on its roof. It was not immediately clear which of the two vehicles was flipped.
 
One person, whose identity was not immediately available, died at the scene.
 
A second person was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
