Train Crashes into Pickup Truck on Cattlemen Road in San Ardo Killing One

 
SAN ARDO, CA (October 17, 2022) – One person was killed in a train accident on Cattlemen Road in San Ardo on Saturday afternoon, October 15.
 
The accident happened at the intersection with Pine Valley Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, the train crashed into a pickup truck in unclear circumstances.
 
When officers arrived, they located the pickup truck completely damaged from the crash. They also found a 30-year-old woman trapped inside the vehicle.
 
Despite life-saving efforts, one person was declared dead at the scene.
 
No identifying information of the victim has been provided at this time. Further investigation is underway.
