Three Vehicles Collide on 215 Freeway in San Bernardino Leaving One Person Dead
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (May 30, 2023) – One person was killed in a three-vehicle accident on 215 Freeway in San Bernardino early Sunday morning on May 28.
The accident happened around 12:18 a.m. just between Inland Center Drive and Mill Street exits. According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray/silver Honda Odyssey minivan, a black Kia Soul and a Dodge Magnum collided along the northbound freeway. The Kia caught fire from the impact.
San Bernardino County Fire Department crews responded and rendered aid to all parties involved.
Despite life-saving efforts, one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were other injuries sustained in the crash, but the exact number of injured patients was not immediately known.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld at this time pending next of kin notification.
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
