School Bus and Passenger Vehicle Collide on Indian Reservation Road in Porterville Killing One

 
PORTERVILLE, CA (December 1, 2022) – One person was killed in a school bus accident on Indian Reservation Road in Porterville Tuesday afternoon last week.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:33 p.m. on November 22. According to the California Highway Patrol, the school bus and a red vehicle collided for unknown reasons.
 
Tulare County Fire Department crews responded and found the male driver of the second vehicle unconscious. The passenger in the car appeared to be in stable condition.
 
Life-saving measures were performed, but one person died at the scene. The deceased seemed to be the driver of the vehicle.
 
At this time, the circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
