Fatal Sunnyvale Pedestrian Accident on Inverness Way and Wolfe Road

 
SUNNYVALE, CA (September 12, 2022) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident at Wolfe Road and Inverness Way in Sunnyvale on Thursday evening.
 
The accident happened around 11:00 on September 8, blocks away from Apple headquarters. According to the Sunnyvale Police Department, a vehicle struck the pedestrian who was walking at the intersection.
 
The impact caused the victim major injuries. Responding paramedics rushed the pedestrian to a San Jose hospital, where they later died.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with police.
