Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle on North Ross Street in Santa Ana

 
SANTA ANA, CA (July 6, 2023) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident on North Ross Street in Santa Ana Monday afternoon on July 3.
 
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, they received a call around 12:49 p.m. about the pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle in the 200 block of North Ross Street, one block west of Broadway.
 
Upon their arrival, they found the pedestrian suffering from fatal injuries and pronounced them dead at the scene.
 
The name, age and hometown of the victim were withheld at this time.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with the officers.
 
Alcohol was not believed to be the factor in the crash.
